Looking for a simple way to help Camp Birch?
Here are some immediate needs for the improvement of the facilities. They’re listed in order of priority for this season. Speak with your unit committee, friends and business associates about adopting one of these projects by funding the cost or purchasing the listed materials for use at camp.

- 100 square of Owens Corning Desert Tan 3-tab shingles to re-roof primitive cabins, latrines and Carmony Lodge. (Each building requires about 15 square at a cost of $45 per square, $1,000 per building.) (About 25 square have been donated to date, about 75 square still needed)
- 60-gallon electric water for the Adams Building. (about $350)
- 125- 4’ x 2’ white ceiling tile panels to complete Adams Building remodeling project. (about $38 per case of 10, about $500 for the job)
- 100 energy saver LED lamps to conserve electricity in camp buildings. (About $12 per bulb, $1,200 for the project)
- 30 bats of R20 or better insulation to insulate Pinetree Lodge. (About $350 for the project)
- 50 new folding cots to replace worn stock (about $70 each, $3,500 for all 50)
- New gutters for the McMillan Building (about $1,600)
- 10 pair of good quality lopping shears (about $35 each, $350 for all) URGENT NEED TO SUPPORT UNIT SERVICE PROJECTS
- 12 – 6’ lightweight plastic folding tables for the Dining Hall (about $50 each, $600 for all) (2 donated to date)
